HELP PRESS “3RDBURGLAR” REMASTERED & ON VINYL FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME!

Hi, I’m Wordburglar. About 10 years ago I released my third album. I called it 3rdburglar.

Like all my projects it was a labor of love and fun. I poured everything into making the best, most original rap songs I could with the most talented friends I could ask for.

Beatmason, Fresh Kils, More Or Les, Timbuktu, Chokeules, Uncle Fes, Apt & Rift all brought their A++ game to the table and pushed me to crank out the best recordings I’d make to date.

The songs on this album are still my most requested – Croque Monsieur, Rhyme O’Clock, Your Friend’s Brother, Yobosayo, Drawings With Words, Sneaky Neighbours, Dude Where’s My AT-AT at? Maybe you’ve heard some of them?

My Crimson Guard allegiance was revealed here too. The original version of Fred Broca planted the seeds for Welcome To Cobra Island, which would follow 3rdburglar a year later.

New creative partnerships formed with LA hip-hop legend Riddlore, MC Homeless and the late, great RichardBenjamin. Abstrak and I made So Much Time and I wrote a very personal song over the most perfect beat by UK producer BareBeats. “Point Of Departure" took years to get right.

Also, I have to say I’m pretty happy with how the intro track turned out. The hip-hop skit needs to be used sparingly, and I always felt we did okay with this one. Based on true events!

And the ART! My dear pal Mike Holmes nailed his continuation of Burglaritis, a tribute to Moebius and Tintin as I continued to evade my robot masters.

I remember coming up with every rhyme and concept, and getting to use samples I’d been collecting for ages.

The CD edition of 3rdburglar has been sold out for years.

I was super proud to release this album in 2012, but one thing always bugged me about it...

We never got to put it on vinyl.

Now, with your help I think we can.

This is my third vinyl campaign. I can’t think of a better album to press than 3rdburglar.
